FAQs

HOW DO I BOOK A CONCERT: It’s as easy as 1. 2. 3. Have fun exploring our Artist Roster (live videos and bios provided) and select a musician that moves your soul and meets your budget. Pick a Date, Time and Location and enter your Credit Card information to book a performance. The show will be confirmed via text and/or email and the Artists will contact you 48 hours before the show to finalize logistics. The rates are set in advance by Artists and are non-negotiable, but you can purchase a Single Set Concert ( 1 x 75 minute set) or a Two Set Concert ( 2 x 75 minute set - 3 hour performance) to manage the expense. Artists tend to be quite flexible with the structure of the performance, so just communicate your needs. Extensions or special requests can be negotiated with the Artist onsite and additional fees can be paid by Cash or Venmo / Paypal tips.

WHAT DO I NEED IN ORDER TO HOST A CONCERT: The concert Host is responsible for providing power (a single heavy duty extension chord will do) and a parking space in reasonably close proximity to the performance space. If direct sunlight or precipitation are a possibility, a tent or shaded area will be appreciated to protect the Artist and her gear.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN ATTEND A LIVE OUT FRONT CONCERT: There is no limit on the number of guests that you can invite to your Live OUT FRONT concert, although social distancing practices and gathering restrictions should be observed at all times.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?: If the weather forecast is bad, you should contact the Artist 24-48 hours before the concert to communicate whether you would like to proceed, reschedule or cancel the event. It is OK to reschedule or cancel the show in advance due to bad weather and the performance fee will be refunded in full. However, if you decide to proceed with the event and then encounter bad weather, same day cancellations will not be refunded. We recommend being prepared for rain or shine with shelter and tarps and let the Artist dazzle you with the passion of the storm.

CAN I SELL TICKETS OR IS IT FAIR TO ASK OTHERS TO SHARE THE COST: Yes, we encourage Hosts to invite friends and neighbors to help share the cost of the entertainment. Whether you formally “Ticket” the event or just ask your guests to contribute to covering the cost of the Artist is fair and reasonable. In fact, Live OUT FRONT is working with Nationally Touring Artists to book house concert tours nationwide, whereby the Host effectively operates an informal outdoor concert venue with tickets and refreshments. Don’t forget to encourage your guests to support the Artist by visiting the Merchandise Table or leaving a Tip if they enjoy the show.

WHAT ARE THE HEALTH AND SAFETY EXPECTATIONS?: The safety of the Audience and the safety of the Artist are our highest priorities. Therefore, we require that concert Hosts take responsibility for managing the size and behavior of the audience to ensure that appropriate social distancing and health safety practices are followed while the Artist is present. All Live OUT FRONT concerts should adhere to CDC and Local Health guidelines in order to protect the public. If a musician does not feel comfortable with the social distancing practices at a gathering, they will first inform the host of their concern. If the social distancing issue is not addressed, the Artist has the right to cancel the performance without refund.

CAN I HOLD A LIVE MUSIC OUT FRONT CONCERT AT MY PLACE OF WORK: Yes, Live OUT FRONT is intended to connect Artists with Private Audiences as well as with Business Clients, Weddings, Corporate Events, Public Events and Bar/Restaurant/Venue operators seeking assistance with their talent buying needs.
